PS2 Modbo 4.0 ( OLD ) / Modbo 750 / Modbo 760 / Modbo 745 mod chip Installation
Installation Diagrams :
Ground yourself properly before beginning the install of your new Playstation 2 Modbo 4.0 NEW modchip.
First remove any dust from Playstation 2 main board by gently brushing with fine dry brush or with compressed air.
Then use the Isopropyl alcohol swabs to clean main board Modbo 4.0 NEW mod chip contact points.
Playstation 2 Modchip installation is "Connect The Dots" eg. Point 'A' on Modchip connect by 1 wire to Point 'A' on PS2 Main Board etc.
Scratch "Via" Points with fine pointer gently to expose Gold color then apply flux to 'via' and wire for strong connection.
Position Modbo 4.0 Chip close to Power and Ground / Earth Points using Multi Strand (thick) wire for Ground / Earth and Power Rails & single strand wire for all other points.
Finish installation with Electrical Insulation tape over chip and tape wires down away from screw holes .

Dear Sir I have a Sony playstation 2 (SCPH-79004) with board GH-062-02 and I want to modify it to play free games, boot on import, backups, ntsc, pal games. Iread that there are a lot of (mod)chips available (e.g. Infinity 1.88) but I don't know the differences between them. Please can you explain me what kind op chips are available for my board and what are the differences between them. Can you also give me the price of this chip and the pictures how to install the chip on the board.
